Security researchers from the Nightwatch Cybersecurity discovered a new way of crashing Firefox and Chromium browsers on mobile and desktop environments. This method relies on using search suggestions feature which both of these browsers support. The issue here is not a software bug, but a fault in design implementation which allows their attack to be executed. All browsers today have a search field or allow users to search through the URL address bar.
